ANZAC Day is always such a special day – one that encourages us to remember and pay tribute to our history. Each ANZAC Day I am reminded how lucky we are to call Australia home, particularly those of us lucky enough to live in Queensland. ANZAC Day tends to be one of the busiest on my calendar as I attempt to get to as many services as I can within the Glass House electorate. This year I attended ceremonies different to those last year which included the Palmwoods dawn service, Mt Mee sunrise service, Glasshouse Country RSL march, ending at the Maleny RSL community service. Well done to each and every person that was involved in the organisation of these events – many are volunteers who go above and beyond the call of duty.
