Peachester Cattle Dip to be Preserved

An important piece of Glass House history is being given $20,000 towards maintenance which will preserve the site for future generations. The Peachester Cattle Dip was used in the early twentieth century and was vital to protecting the cattle and dairy farm industry in South East Queensland from the spread of cattle tick. I’m pleased to see this distinctive part of our local heritage protected in this way.
